Foolery, sir, does walk about the orb like the sun. It shines everywhere. Twelfth Night, (III.I.39-40) |
story & personality
• Motley •
Warmest greetings, friend! Tell me, you heard the tale-- |
• Mister •
Ah, I'm sorry that you just missed her. Maybe try later? |
• l'Excuse •
En remplacement de n'importe camarades? |
• 优伶 (yōulíng) •
OooOooooo, 幽灵? You've seen right through me! |
• Charle-mangy •
Aw, now where'd ya hear that one?~ |
Motley is a free-spirit to say the very least.
A spectacle of a specter, he travels the world making merry and alleviating ails. Laughter is the best medicine, of course! Many have known him, but none know from whence he came. He just started showing up one day, and he hasn't left since.
Motley uses he/him pronouns and is bisexual. He is naturally charming, charismatic, and maybe...a little bit flirtatious. Good-natured and witty to a fault, Motley cannot help but say what is on his mind, brutally honest as it may be. However, his easygoing attitude and amicable affability get him out of as much trouble as his ill-received jokes and japes put him in. He is captivating, goofy, and his laughter is infectious. You're guaranteed to leave his presence with a smile, or at least some of your worries behind.

appearances & permissions
Motley is a golden jackal who wears a beautiful ivory mask and ever-changing colorful clothing.
You may draw him in any of these outfits interchangeably! He frequently switches up his wardrobe; sometimes, even in the middle of a set. There's no discerning the rhyme or reason for these changes, but rumor has it he wore all black exactly once.
I'd love it if you made art of Motley! He is welcome to be drawn in stand-alone pieces.
You can draw him as anthro like he is here or as a quad design if you'd like!
Please ask about character interactions. No writing at this time, thank you.
