a kind and lively sphinx adorned with plants, jewelry, and a striking gaze. she is on the smaller size for a sphinx of her kind. kalpis has a hard-to-define but unforgettable presence. her plucky attitude surfaces on the waters of something older, darker, more mysterious.
she is a riddling sphinx, visiting the library to research new and impossible riddles for her arsenal. however...she never seems to do much work when she's there. |

i'd love it if you made art of kalpis!
she has oranges draped across her shoulders, papyrus stems on her back, and a crown of thyme on her head. she adorns herself with golden bracers, rings, and a pair of cobalt earrings. they can be removed but she feels naked without them!
kalpis tries to remember to keep her wings tucked in. when she's relaxed, they seem to sprawl over any available surface. if she's tired, you can catch her with her wings outstretched towards the sun, trying to warm up. she can fly and often does, whether that be soaring over the land or sparrow-flittering through the halls of the library.
she is welcome to be drawn in stand-alone pieces, or depicted with any of the library's other characters.
